What is Alnylam AssistTM?
Alnylam AssistTM is a comprehensive support program that offers personalized assistance to patients getting started on treatment with ONPATTRO® (patisiran), and provides ongoing support for patients and their families.
How do I enroll in the Alnylam AssistTM program?
In order to enroll in the program, you must be prescribed ONPATTRO and fill out the Start Form with your doctor. Once you've signed, your doctor can submit the form online or print it out and fax it.
Who are Case Managers?
Case Managers are experienced in helping individuals get started on treatment and providing ongoing support. They will tailor their level of contact based on your personal needs. Your Alnylam Case Manager can help you understand your insurance coverage and your options for financial support that you may be eligible for as well as provide you with educational resources. You also can look to your Case Manager to provide information about infusion centers nearest to you as well as information on transitioning to home infusions if you and your doctor decide that it is right for you. Please note that home infusions may not be covered by all insurance plans. Learn how you can work together with your own personal Case Manager.
Who are Patient Education Liaisons (PELs)?
PELs have backgrounds in nursing or genetic counseling and are experienced in educating individuals and their families about matters related to hATTR amyloidosis. PELs can help you in a variety of ways, including providing disease and product education, connecting you to additional resources, and answering questions about treatment.
